Turning Data Into Drama
Motorsport is packed with data, but the challenge is making that information feel as exciting as the race itself.
For this project, circuit layouts and race statistics were transformed into a series of animated graphics designed for broadcast. Using 3D track visualisations, bold typography, and dynamic motion, the aim was to guide the viewer through the information quickly and intuitively.
Process and Outcome
Motorsport graphics have to work fast. Viewers only have a few seconds to take in information before the race moves on, so clarity was just as important as style.
The focus was on creating track visualisations that felt dynamic and easy to read, using lighting, camera movement, and typography to guide the viewer through the circuit. By treating the track as a hero object rather than a flat graphic, the information became more engaging while remaining easy to understand.
The result is a clean, energetic graphics package that helps bring the story of the circuit to life.
